Investing and managing existing buildings over a longer term are by common sence a sustainable model. The massive environmental impact witch occurs in the construction phase is limited to a minimum. We make the most out of properties that are already built. And by signing longer leases with solvent tenants, we can work together over time to reduce carbon dioxide emissions.

Switching to renewable energy is another way of reducing our climate impact and supporting our business model. We look for properties where solar panels can be installed, and continue our shift towards other sources of renewable energy.

Due to our long-term ownership and management of our properties we are able to follow up our tenants progress in the efforts to reduse the use of energy. Heating and electricity consumption is the most important areas in which we can have a direct impact.

We believe that profit is not in conflict with responsible and sustainable business. Behaving in a responsible way by limiting our environmental impact are prerequisites for running a successful business and making strong returns for our shareholders over the long term
